10 February 2020

On Wednesday 6 May 2020, the National Hair and Beauty Community Awards will again be presented at the House of Parliament, following the success of last year’s event. The awards were launched in 2019 to recognise and promote the fantastic work of hair salons, barbershops and beauty salons to support their local communities.

There are four categories that can be entered including helping the community, helping the environment and helping charities. The awards are open to National Hair & Beauty Federation Members only and applicants will be invited to attend the reception with a guest of choice.

The closing date for this year’s Community Awards is Friday 6th March 2020.

NHBF President, Ian Egerton said: “The Houses of Parliament reception was a huge success in 2019. It was a privilege for the Hair & Beauty Community Awards to be attended by MPs who were able to gain an insight into the hair and beauty sector.

“We are blown away by the number of inspirational entries we received demonstrating how hard salons work for their local communities as well as national and local  charities and we cannot wait to see what 2020 applicants have to offer.”
