NHBF Annual General Meeting
The NHBF’s 83rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place at 2pm on Monday 7 July 2025 at The Wesley Hotel, Euston, London, NW1 2EZ. This is a formal business meeting open to NHBF Members only.

The AGM’s agenda will include:
- Review of the NHBF’s Annual Report & Accounts for the year ending 31 December 2024
- Appointment of auditors
- Any other decisions requiring Member approval

As part of its AGM, the NHBF has published an Annual Report detailing what was delivered for the Members in 2024.

Home Office: Illegal working enforcement soars in drive to strengthen border security
More than 6,000 arrests and 9,000 visits have been carried out across the UK since the election in crackdown on illegal working. A major surge in immigration enforcement activity across the UK has led to a 51% rise in the number of arrests since the election, as part of a Home Office drive to disable the illegal working trade in the UK.
WEC launches new inquiry into the health impacts of breast implants and other cosmetic procedures
The Women and Equalities Committee (WEC) has launched a new inquiry into the health impacts of breast implants and other cosmetic procedures.
The inquiry will explore the effectiveness of existing regulations governing surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including breast implants. It will also assess the adequacy of the current informed consent processes in ensuring individuals understand the risks and long-term implications of cosmetic procedures.
The Committee invites written submissions through the inquiry website addressing any or all of the issues raised in the following terms of reference by Friday, 4 July 2025.
